Yangjae 1-dong in Seocho-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeon Seong-su) held the highlight of the 6th Maljukgeori Festival, the "Maljukgeori Alley Parade," starting at 4 PM on the 13th.
This "Maljukgeori Alley Parade" took place along a 1km section near Yangjae Market.
The festival's theme was "The Festival Revives and the Youth Return." It symbolized the past, present, and future of Maljukgeori and aimed to transform Maljukgeori into Seocho's representative hot place.
First, attention was drawn by four horses in the city and police cars, followed by a performance by the National Gugak High School's traditional military band. Then came a children's favorite character costume march featuring Kokomong, a retro-style procession inspired by the movie "Maljukgeori Massacre" with roller skates, school uniforms, and disco pants, a march to save our precious Earth, and an eco-friendly performance by young people riding kickboards and electric bicycles. The parade, consisting of about 150 people and stretching 50 meters, concluded with a pungmul band performance.
Additionally, around the event venue, activities such as children's horseback riding, feeding horses, and photo zones were operated, providing memories and entertainment.
