Hwasun-gun, Autumn Flowers Like Pink Muhly Blooming Brightly in Namsan Park
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that cosmos, sunflowers, pink muhly, and other flowers planted in Namsan Park are in full bloom over an area of about 10,000㎡ under the blue sky, and they are expected to reach full bloom by mid-October.
For the convenience of nearby residents, the county opened a new entrance on the south side of Namsan Park (towards Hwasun High School), opposite the existing entrance (towards Goindol Traditional Market and the County Community Center), and maintained the trees around the new entrance, opening a new gate wide.
Visitors, including pet owners, couples, families, and friends, continue to visit the cosmos flower field that has begun blooming.
The county is preparing to welcome visitors by making final touches such as installing photo zones and chrysanthemum sculptures in time for the full bloom of autumn flowers.
County Governor Gubokgyu said, “I hope Namsan Park becomes a place where people can take walks with autumn flowers in this perfect season, take photos at the photo zones, walk barefoot trails, and create happy memories.”
