Completion in 2026... A Complex Space Equipped with Education and Leisure Facilities
On the 11th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced that the 'Icheon City Women's Vision Center,' which the city is promoting, was selected as an excellent resident support special support project in the 2024 Han River Watershed Fund contest.

View original imageThe city was selected for the contest with a project to install a resident participation space within the center, securing an additional 800 million KRW in national funds. Previously, the city secured 2.9 billion KRW in project funds in 2022 and last year, and it is expected that the construction will gain momentum with this contest selection.
The Women's Vision Center will be built on a public office site within the Jung-ri residential district in Icheon. It will be constructed on a 4,000㎡ site with two basement floors and four above-ground floors, with construction starting this month and completion targeted for June 2026.
The center will include a performance hall, a national sports center, and spaces for women's employment and entrepreneurship support as well as childcare, which can be used for educational, leisure activities, and resident interaction.
