'LS Future Day' Held at Anyang LS Tower on the 6th
"Tesla and Apple Products Also Emerged During Crises"
Gu Ja-eun, Chairman of LS Group, urged employees on the 6th to "focus more on future opportunities rather than risks during times of crisis and innovate to leap forward as a company leading the post-crisis era."
At the 'LS Future Day' held at LS Tower in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province, Chairman Gu said in his encouragement speech, "In the history of innovation, first-generation products from Tesla and Apple both emerged during financial crisis periods like 2007 and 2008."

He emphasized, "The word 'crisis' contains both 'risk' and 'opportunity.' LS has responded well to risks so far and will continue to do so."
The second annual LS Future Day was attended by about 200 executives and employees, including CEOs, CTOs (Chief Technology Officers), and CDOs (Chief Digital Officers) from various affiliates, including Chairman Gu. The event provided a time to share and award the group's future new business ideas, top research and development (R&D) achievements, and outstanding digital innovation cases.
In three categories?▲new business, ▲technology, and ▲innovation?about 20 outstanding achievements from each company competed, including battery recycling, autonomous driving tractors, and smart office productivity innovations. Employees selected for outstanding cases were given the opportunity to attend the world's largest international electronics exhibition (CES 2024) next year with Chairman Gu to experience the latest technology trends.
At this LS Future Day, a forum was also held inviting experts in politics, diplomacy, and economics to review LS Group’s Vision 2030 direction amid changes in the international order such as the Russia-Ukraine war and US-China trade conflicts. The lectures featured four experts: Dr. Lee Cheol (China), Dr. Kim Ji-yoon (USA), Professor Ahn Byung-eok of Daegu University (Europe), and Professor Kim Su-wan of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Middle East), who each presented on the current situations and future strategies of their respective countries and continents.
To further encourage participation and experience from employees, an instant photo booth called 'LS Ne-cut' was set up, offering an event where participants could pose side-by-side with pre-recorded photos of Chairman Gu, which received great enthusiasm.
