'G Farm Party' on July 7-8 at Gimpo Gyeonggi Residents' Garden
Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Agricultural and Marine Products Promotion Agency will hold the ‘G Farm Party,’ an autumn program to revitalize urban agriculture communities, over two days on the 7th and 8th at the Gyeonggi Residents' Garden located in Janggi-dong, Gimpo City.
Held for the second time following last year, the ‘G Farm Party’ is an event where garden operators invite local citizens to enjoy food and agricultural product sales, performances, and hands-on experiences. The program includes garden tours, gardening, Korean beef tasting sessions, garden photo exhibitions, dragonfly net making, and a variety of cultural performances such as traditional Korean music, popular songs, and classical music.
Additionally, at the sales booths within the garden, students from local special education classes and garden participant groups will sell sweet potatoes and various vegetables they have harvested themselves.
Furthermore, agricultural organizations in the Gimpo area will sell locally produced foods (potatoes, pears, honey, etc.) and processed agricultural products (fermented sauces, flower teas, etc.), with the proceeds planned to be donated to socially vulnerable groups.
