Hong Nampyo, Changwon Special City Mayor, Holds Idea Discussion with Innovation Junior Board
Participated in Key Idea Discussions as a 'Daily Honorary Innovation Junior Board Member'
Changwon City in Gyeongnam announced that the Innovation Junior Board (hereinafter referred to as the Junior Board) held an idea discussion meeting with Mayor Hong Nam-pyo on the 5th at a local meeting cafe.
The Junior Board is an organization composed of young employees in their 20s and 30s below grade 7, established in May to foster a flexible organizational culture and innovate city administration, and has been carrying out various activities.

Mayor Hong gave a mini lecture sharing sincere stories about the ‘administrative philosophy’ and ‘virtues of public officials,’ and also gifted writing books to each committee member to strengthen the Junior Board’s capabilities.
The idea discussion focused on improvement plans for ‘duty operation’ and ‘parking issues within the office.’ The discussion attracted attention with its unique style reflecting the sensibilities of the MZ generation, including appointing Mayor Hong as a one-day honorary Junior Board member before the discussion.
Chairman Lee Su-hyuk of the Junior Board said, “The gifted book, the lecture filled with writings on the whiteboard, and the time spent in discussion will be an unforgettable experience in my public service career,” adding, “I feel proud to be a member of the Changwon City Junior Board.”
Mayor Hong said, “The ideas proposed by the Junior Board are like unpolished gems that will become excellent jewels once refined and supplemented,” and urged, “Please continue to work passionately with pride as you do now.”

The Junior Board plans to continue efforts to discover ideas for improving organizational culture and innovating city administration through regular meetings in November, and to hold an activity performance report meeting in December.
