The Season of Apples in Autumn... The 17th Cheongsong Apple Festival Held Online
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will hold the "17th Cheongsong Apple Festival" online festival on the portal site Daum starting from the 6th.
The "17th Cheongsong Apple Festival" reflects the trend of festivals where non-face-to-face communication has become more important, and aims at the MZ generation familiar with the mobile environment by diversifying the festival format. It will be held as a hybrid festival combining face-to-face and online festivals.
The online festival program is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages without time and space constraints, featuring four online games including the representative killer contents Honey Jam - Apple Nanta, Challenge - Apple Sorting Lotto, as well as Cheongsong Quiz and Popping Balloons, along with promotion of the Cheongsong Apple Festival.
The county expects that holding the online festival using a major portal site with easy access will indirectly allow participants to experience the face-to-face apple festival programs, thereby inducing interest and participation in the festival, expanding on-site visitors, pursuing sustainability and stability of the Cheongsong Apple Festival, and serving as a new attempt for globalization.
The 17th Cheongsong Apple Festival will be held for five days from November 1 to November 5, when Cheongsong apples are most abundant, around Yongjeoncheon in Cheongsong-eup.
In particular, various exhibition, sales, and experience booths, the Cheongsong Apple Parade, the National Cheongsong Flower Stringing Competition, and other participatory programs that unite residents and tourists will be operated, along with various experience programs such as Cheongsong Golden Bell and Apple Bat. Diverse performances including the Hello Concert Good Day and the World Confucian Culture Festival (Trot Concert) are also prepared.
