Get Your Resident Registration Certificate Easily with Samsung Pay
Start of Electronic Certificate Service Support
From now on, Samsung Pay users will be able to easily issue electronic certificates such as resident registration copies.
Starting from the 5th, Samsung Electronics will begin supporting electronic certificate services issued by the government through its mobile wallet service, Samsung Pay.
Users can issue, view, share, and submit a total of 11 types of electronic certificates issued by the Republic of Korea's e-government service 'Government24' within Samsung Pay.
To use the service, users must first register as a member of Government24 and then obtain an electronic signature certificate through 'Samsung Pass' within the Samsung Pay application. After that, the service can be accessed via the electronic certificate menu inside the Samsung Pay app.
The issued electronic certificates are valid for 90 days from the date of initial issuance. The issued certificates can also be stored on the user's smartphone device through a password setting feature.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is expanding the issuance scope of the 'Samsung Pay prepaid recharge card' to allow those under the age of 14 to safely use payment services via Samsung Pay.
