On the 4th, at the Lin'an Sports Culture and Exhibition Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, Jeong Han-jae defeated Islomomon Bakhkhramov (Uzbekistan) 5-4 in the men's Greco-Roman wrestling 60kg repechage bronze medal match to claim the bronze medal.
Jeong Han-jae scored 2 points first by successfully executing a tackle technique with 1 minute and 32 seconds remaining in the first period. He finished the first period leading 3-0 and continued to control the match in the second period. With 2 minutes and 7 seconds left in the match, he added one more point due to his opponent's foul.
However, Jeong Han-jae conceded a throw technique 14 seconds before the end of the match, allowing the score to tie at 4-4.
Jeong Han-jae dramatically ended the match just before defeat. With 10 seconds remaining, he earned one point from his opponent's foul and won 5-4.
Earlier that day, Jeong Han-jae lost 0-9 by technical fall in the second period to world number one Zholaman Shasenbekov (Kyrgyzstan) in the quarterfinals, but since Zholaman advanced to the final, Jeong earned a chance in the repechage.
