KakaoBank Launches '26-Week Savings' with Jeju Air and Lotte Duty Free... 7% Annual Interest
Kakao Bank announced on the 4th that it will launch a 26-week installment savings plan in partnership with Jeju Air and Lotte Duty Free.
'26-week Installment Savings with Jeju Air, Lotte Duty Free' is a product that combines Kakao Bank's 26-week installment savings with travel benefits from Jeju Air and shopping benefits from Lotte Duty Free. The subscription period is from today until November 3, and it is a limited edition product allowing only one account per person.
Kakao Bank’s ‘26-week Installment Savings’ allows customers to choose one of 1,000 KRW, 2,000 KRW, 3,000 KRW, 5,000 KRW, or 10,000 KRW as the initial weekly deposit amount, which then automatically increases by that amount each week. If the customer successfully makes deposits for 26 consecutive weeks, an annual interest rate of 7.0% (before tax) is applied.
If the customer successfully completes automatic transfers for 26 consecutive weeks, they can receive various benefits such as Jeju Air membership points, airfare discount coupons, and online/offline discount coupons from Lotte Duty Free. Kakao Bank will also hold a draw among customers who complete automatic transfers through the 26th week and mature their accounts, awarding 20 winners with one-way domestic flight tickets from Jeju Air.
