The women's Go team won 3-0 against Hong Kong in the semifinals of the 19th Asian Games women's team Go event held on the 2nd at the China Qiyuan branch in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
7-dan Kim Eunji secured a white win by resignation after 162 moves against 2-dan Zhen Ying, and 8-dan Kim Chaeyoung defeated amateur Li Leiyi with a white win by resignation after 144 moves.
9-dan Oh Yujin also achieved a black win by resignation after 179 moves against 2-dan Liu Yuxin.
In the other semifinal, China defeated Japan 2-1 to advance to the finals.
The women's team advanced to the semifinals with a perfect 5-0 record in the preliminary rounds.
In the third round of the preliminaries against China, 9-dan Choi Jeong and 9-dan Oh Yujin defeated China's 5-dan Li He and 7-dan Yu Zhiying respectively, while Kim Eunji lost to 5-dan Wu Yiming.
