Kim Kyung-jong, Director of Chosun University Hospital, Extends Warm Support to Sohwa Sisters' Home
Chosun University Hospital (Director Kim Kyung-jong) extended a warm hand to the Social Welfare Corporation Sohwa Sisters' Home located in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City ahead of Chuseok.
Sohwa Sisters' Home is an institution that strives to enhance the human rights of people with disabilities and their independence, hosting various cultural events to communicate with people with disabilities and local residents, and leading efforts to improve the quality of life for marginalized groups.
Director Kim Kyung-jong delivered 8 boxes of fruit and 6 gift sets including jerky with the hope that the children living at Sohwa Sisters' Home grow up healthy and happy.
This donation was made more meaningful by delivering the gifts received by the hospital to Sohwa Sisters' Home, which is in need of assistance, and Director Kim personally added a cash gift from his own pocket, adding warmth to the gesture.
Director Kim Kyung-jong said, “During difficult economic times like these, continuous interest and support for marginalized groups around us are necessary,” and added, “Chosun University Hospital will continue to pay more attention and practice sharing so that no neighbors are left behind.”
