Independent research firm IV Research forecasted on the 26th that the drama production sector will drive performance improvement for Blade Entertainment until 2025.
Blade Entertainment is an entertainment company that changed its name from BlueberryNFT last December. Through its subsidiaries, it is engaged in drama production, entertainment, and STO (Security Token Offering) businesses. Kim Woo-jae, CEO of Blade ENT, which is in charge of drama production, is a producer (PD) who has worked on the production, planning, and producing of various films such as "Midnight Runners," "Be With You," "Marathon," and "The Face Reader."
IV Research explained, "The drama 'Influenza' for online video service (OTT) is expected to start filming this year," adding, "Full-scale revenue recognition is expected from the fourth quarter of this year." They also stated, "They will produce dramas based on verified IPs such as 'Psychological Crime' and 'If AI Rules the World,'" and added, "We expect meaningful performance from the drama production sector."
Through its subsidiary Blade Music, the company is also engaged in album and entertainment businesses. They are preparing idol production and album sales through in-house trainee development and audition programs. The debut of their first idol group is also planned for the first half of next year. They are also promoting entry into the virtual content market through the launch of virtual idols.
IV Research said, "The virtual girl group MunKiki will debut next year through the PinkBus platform," adding, "PinkBus will be launched in the first quarter of next year and plans to release a one-on-one conversation service utilizing artificial intelligence (AI).
