Signed a Business Agreement with Barunson E&A
Discovering Killer Content Targeting the Global Content Market
Content platform company RIDI announced on the 26th that it has signed a strategic partnership (MOU) with Barunson E&A for the global video content business. Barunson E&A is the production company of the film Parasite, which won four awards including Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards. They are currently preparing for the release of the film Geomijip, which is considered the most anticipated movie this Chuseok season.
Through this partnership, RIDI and Barunson E&A have agreed to collaborate on creating new content that will lead the global content market by utilizing the major IPs (intellectual properties) each company holds. Specifically, RIDI will adapt Barunson E&A’s films and dramas into webtoons and web novels, while Barunson E&A will focus its efforts on producing video adaptations of RIDI’s original novel brand ‘Uju Like Novel’.
