Fire Safety Achievement of the Year Award
Jeong Yong-in, the former chief of the Boseong Fire Station in Jeonnam, was recognized for his efforts to ensure public safety.
According to the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters on the 25th, Chief Jeong received the "Fire Safety Merit of the Year Award" at the 2023 Proud People Awards ceremony held at the Korea Press Center in Seoul.
He was highly praised for his active innovative administration contributing to organizational development and public safety while working at the National Fire Agency, Ministry of Public Safety and Security, Fire Agency, and Jeonnam Fire Headquarters.
Chief Jeong said, "I accept this as encouragement for fulfilling my duties faithfully and diligently so far, and I will continue to do my best for the safety of the people."
