Enthusiastic matches were held across 31 venues in 23 sports disciplines including gateball, park golf, soccer, and volleyball.
In line with the festival’s spirit of fostering harmony among community sports enthusiasts, there was no overall championship award or closing ceremony; instead, awards and closures were conducted immediately after each event. Uljin-gun fielded 488 athletes across 20 sports.
To create a harmonious atmosphere where both athletes and residents could enjoy together, the opening ceremony omitted the athletes' parade. Instead, athletes and spectators enjoyed and participated in the opening ceremony and celebratory performances together, drawing enthusiastic responses from approximately 5,000 attendees.
Additionally, to ensure thorough safety management for this large-scale event, safety experts in firefighting, electrical, and facility management conducted pre-event inspections of the venues and established safety prevention plans. Through close cooperation with related agencies such as the police and fire departments, the festival was completed without a single safety incident.
