50s Woman Missing in Urban Stream Flooded by Heavy Rain Found Dead After Three Days
The body of a woman in her 50s who was swept away by a rapid current in an urban stream during the heavy rain that fell in Busan on the 20th was found three days after she went missing.
According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 12:20 a.m. on the 23rd, a report was received of a "body" between Jwasuyeonggyo and Suyeonggyo bridges downstream of the Suyeong River. Firefighters, the coast guard, and police were dispatched and found Ms. A.
After the 119 paramedics recovered the body, it was transported to a hospital, and it is known that Ms. A's family confirmed her identity around 3 a.m. that day.
