Mokpo Coast Guard Transports Three Emergency Patients in Their 70s from Island Village
Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) received a report on the 21st at around 6:31 PM about a patient A (in their 70s) who was immobile and showing symptoms of myocardial infarction on Jodo, Jindo County.
The maritime police safely transported the patient and their guardian to Seomang Port in Jindo via patrol vessels and coastal rescue boats.

On the same day at around 7:54 PM, a report was received from Hongdo, Sinan County, about patient B (in their 70s) suspected of perforation, complaining of severe abdominal pain. The patient was transferred to the 119 ambulance at Namgang Dock, Amtae, through coordination between patrol vessels and coastal rescue boats.
Earlier at around 8:14 AM, patient C (in their 70s) with acute pyelonephritis on Haedo, Sinan County, was urgently transported to the mainland using a patrol vessel.
The emergency patients urgently transported to the mainland by the maritime police were reportedly moved to large hospitals located in Gwangju and Mokpo for treatment.
