Musinsa Opens New 'Sneaker Specialty Store'... "Strengthening Sneaker Community Identity"
Campaign on Sneakers Theme to Run Until October 3
Musinsa is launching a new service focused on sneakers and strengthening its identity as the "place with the most shoe photos" where it all began.
Musinsa announced on the 20th that it has newly launched a sneaker specialty section dedicated to the footwear category and will run the "2023 Fall/Winter (FW) Sneaker Presentation" campaign until the 3rd of next month. This campaign will feature sneaker lookbooks and videos selected by Musinsa, limited edition sneaker releases, discount promotions, and various online and offline events including pop-ups.
The campaign lookbooks and videos released on the Musinsa application feature 15 influencers from various fields such as singer Dawn, dancers, models, singers, and YouTubers. Twenty highly popular brands on Musinsa, including New Balance, Reebok, Vans, Salomon, Adidas, Asics, and Converse, participate to showcase retro and street mood lookbooks using popular sneakers.
In particular, as part of this campaign, four limited edition sneakers exclusive to Musinsa will be unveiled. Limited edition products resulting from a collaboration between Reebok and the street fashion brand ‘Project G/R’ and the Musinsa-exclusive Asics ‘Gel-Kayano 14’ will be newly released. Additionally, Salomon and New Balance sneakers custom-made in collaboration with artist Oh Jae-hoon, known for his upcycling works, will also be released exclusively.
During the event period, key products will be proposed based on keywords such as Y2K, running, classic, and gore-tex core, and a special discount coupon pack usable for sneaker purchases will be provided. Various benefits are prepared, including time sales offering limited quantities of popular sneakers at special prices and the “Mujinjang Shoe Photo Challenge” event linked with Musinsa Snap.
An offline pop-up where customers can directly experience sneakers will also be held. It will operate until the 27th at ‘Azni Island’ located in the Musinsa Campus N1 building in Seongsu-dong. The sneaker presentation pop-up will display major popular sneaker products and sell Musinsa-exclusive releases on a first-come, first-served basis. Various on-site events such as lucky draws and last size sales will also be conducted.
