Emergency First Aid Training for 4,000 Employees by October 20
Mastering Initial Rescue Measures and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Usage
Samsung Electronics Service announced on the 20th that it will conduct 'First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Practice Training' for about 4,000 employees nationwide at service centers until October 20.
This training is conducted by professional instructors from S-1 Corporation who visit service centers nationwide. The main training contents include ▲checking consciousness and calling 119 after discovering a cardiac arrest patient ▲practicing CPR using a mannequin ▲how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), among others.

There have been cases where Samsung Electronics Service employees who received first aid training saved lives. In March in Mapo, Seoul, and in May in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, employees provided first aid to customers who collapsed due to illness while visiting the service centers and then transported them to 119, saving their lives.
