"Separated, So..." Musk Meets Turkish President Holding His 3-Year-Old Son
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, attracted attention by bringing his 3-year-old son to a meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdo?an, President of T?rkiye.
On the 18th (local time), the American economic media Business Insider reported that Musk brought his 3-year-old son to a meeting with President Erdo?an at the T?rkevi Center (Turkey House) located in Manhattan, New York, the day before, creating an "awkward moment."

The meeting was a session where both sides brought their aides to discuss key issues, including the attraction of a Tesla factory. In fact, President Erdo?an requested Tesla to build a factory in T?rkiye, to which Musk responded, "T?rkiye is one of the important candidates for the next factory construction."
However, Musk brought his 3-year-old son to this meeting. The child is the eldest of three children Musk had with Canadian singer Grimes (real name Claire Boucher) in May 2020, and his name is "X," which is also the current name of Twitter.
Musk entered Turkey House holding his son in one arm, and during the conversation with President Erdo?an, he either held his son in his arms or had him sit on his lap. He was also with his son during the group photo.
When Musk brought 'X,' President Erdo?an appeared slightly surprised but reportedly made eye contact with the child, gently stroked his cheek, and gave him a soccer ball as a gift.
President Erdo?an asked Musk, "Where is your wife?" and Musk replied, "She is in San Francisco," adding, "We are separated. I take care of my son most of the time."
Grimes is a woman who has lived with Musk since 2018. They have a son, X, and a daughter, Y, and have repeatedly separated and reconciled. In September 2021, they announced they were "half separated." However, it was recently revealed that they had a third child, indicating they still maintain a close relationship.
Musk, 53 years old this year, has 10 children.
Previously, Musk divorced his first wife, Canadian novelist Justine Wilson, with whom he had five children, in 2008. Afterwards, he had three children with Grimes. It is known that Grimes gave birth to the first child naturally, while the second and third were born via surrogate. Additionally, Musk voluntarily donated sperm to Shivon Zilis, an executive at one of his affiliates, Neuralink, resulting in twins.
