Kyobo Bookstore and KOTRA to Hold 'Global Business Trends Briefing' on the 14th of Next Month
Kyobo Book Centre, in collaboration with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), will hold the '2024 Global Business Trends Briefing' on October 14th at Daesan Hall on the 23rd floor of the Kyobo Building in Gwanghwamun. Renowned speakers will be invited to discuss ESG, AI, and economic trends, presenting key industry trends and business implications.
Professor Yoon Soon-jin from Seoul National University Graduate School of Environmental Studies will speak on the topic "Becoming Climate Citizens in the Era of Climate Crisis (ESG Trends)." Professor Kim Kwang-seok, adjunct professor at Hanyang University Graduate School of International Studies, will present "2024 Global Economic Outlook (Economic/Management Trends)." Professor Kim Dae-sik from KAIST Department of Electrical Engineering will deliver a lecture on "The World Led by AI and ChatGPT (Technology Trends)."
The briefing is organized to commemorate the publication of '2024 Global Trends That Korea Will Enthusiastically Embrace,' released by KOTRA in October. The book compiles business cases directly discovered on-site by KOTRA employees working at 129 overseas trade centers in 84 countries. It includes diverse cases from around the world such as sand batteries, mobile hydrogen generators, AI-crafted beer, autonomous strollers, and mobile hydrogen generators.
