Geochang-gun Holds Safety Security Officer Appointment Ceremony for Local Safety Management Activities
Mandatory Safety Officer Training Conducted
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 19th that it held a Safety Security Officer commissioning ceremony in the county office's conference room.
Safety Security Officers are residents who actively work to enhance the safety level of the local community by identifying and reporting safety violations in daily life and participating in safety inspection activities promoted by the county. Geochang-gun commissioned 23 officers in accordance with the Safety Security Officer Activity Ordinance.
Along with the commissioning ceremony, training was conducted on essential matters that Safety Security Officers must know, such as their duties and roles, how to use the Safety Report app, and the seven major unsafe practices to avoid.
Deputy County Governor Lee Jong-ha urged, “Please take pride as Safety Security Officers and take the lead in various safety activities so that all residents can live with peace of mind.”
