Seoul National University Hospital Gangnam Center, 20th Anniversary of Opening... "Leading Future-Oriented Healthcare"
Seoul National University Hospital Gangnam Center held a commemorative ceremony and academic event to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
On the 15th, Jo Jeong-yeon, Director of the Gangnam Center, delivered a commemorative speech at the 20th anniversary ceremony of the opening of Seoul National University Hospital Gangnam Center.

Seoul National University Hospital Gangnam Center announced on the 18th that it held the commemorative events from the 15th to the 16th. About 150 people, including Kim Young-tae, director of Seoul National University Hospital, distinguished guests, and hospital staff, attended the 20th anniversary ceremony held on the 15th.
On the 16th, an academic event was held under the theme "Gangnam Center Health Story, A Healthier Tomorrow." The academic event featured lectures by Gangnam Center faculty and invited external speakers, including ▲ Managing Cardiovascular Diseases in the Era of Digital Healthcare (Choi Soo-yeon, Cardiology) ▲ Diabetes Management Using Wearable Devices (Yoon Ji-wan, Endocrinology) ▲ Female Menopause and Hormone Therapy (Kim Jin-joo, Obstetrics and Gynecology).
Meanwhile, to mark its 20th anniversary, Gangnam Center is publishing the second edition of Korea's first health screening textbook, "Health Screening for Koreans." It has been 10 years since the first edition was published in 2013. "Health Screening for Koreans" provides guidelines based on medical principles and accumulated research results on screening methods for various diseases, interpretation of tests conducted during health screenings, and follow-up observation and management of abnormal findings.
The revised edition includes content on quality improvement activities during the health screening process, customer management, screening flow management, preparation of re-examination plans, and other management and support aspects of health screening that were not covered in the first edition. It also covers future screenings utilizing artificial intelligence, smart medical devices, digital medical equipment, and genetic testing, the center explained.
