Hampyeong-gun in Final Preparations for 'Korea National Chrysanthemum Exhibition'
Hampyeong-gun is in full swing preparing for the final stages of the Korea Chrysanthemum Festival, the representative festival of Jeollanam-do.
On the 18th, according to the county, the Hampyeong-gun Agricultural Technology Center is manually fixing chrysanthemum stems to sculptures, and these sculptures will be installed in Hampyeong Expo Park to enrich the festival.
In particular, despite the harsh conditions for chrysanthemum cultivation due to abnormal weather this year, Hampyeong-gun overcame this with its unique technology and cultivated beautiful chrysanthemums.
Lee Sang-ik, the county governor, said, “We are doing our best to prepare for the Korea Chrysanthemum Festival, including chrysanthemum cultivation, so that people can fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere and the scent and beauty of chrysanthemums.” He added, “We ask for your great interest and support for the Korea Chrysanthemum Festival to be held in October.”
