Jungjingong, Recruiting Partners to Support SME Overseas Expansion
'2024 New Recruitment for Overseas Private Network'
The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kang Seok-jin, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced that it will begin recruiting overseas private network companies to participate in the 'Overseas Branch Project' starting from the 18th to promote exports and overseas market entry of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The Overseas Branch Project is a program that supports exports by having public and private institutions with local offices act as branches on behalf of SMEs that lack the capacity to establish branches overseas.
To this end, SBC designates capable local private consulting and marketing companies as 'Overseas Private Networks' to provide customized support for exports, marketing, and other needs for SMEs' overseas expansion. Additionally, the designated Overseas Private Networks serve as implementers of various export support programs promoted by SBC.
The service areas for this Overseas Private Network recruitment include nine fields: ▲buyer discovery and local marketing for export support ▲support for entry into overseas local distribution networks and overseas distribution network expansion ▲targeted entry by product category for sales and market development services ▲technology export such as technology transfer and cooperation ▲accelerating services ▲public procurement-related agency services for procurement entry ▲local investment support such as investment feasibility review and partner discovery ▲data science-based export support consulting, among others.
In particular, this year, reflecting the overseas expansion demand of SMEs, SBC plans to expand the selection of Overseas Private Networks located in emerging countries such as Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and countries where the export share of SMEs has recently increased significantly, including Russia, Mexico, and the UAE.
