Bloodstains Throughout the House... Five Presumed Family Members Found Dead in Yeongam, Jeonnam (Comprehensive)
Five people, including a suspect in a sex crime and his family members, were found dead inside a house, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
According to the Yeongam Police Station in Jeollanam-do on the 15th, at around 3:54 PM, five people were found dead at a residence in Yeongam-eup, Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do: a man in his 60s identified as Mr. A, his wife in her 50s, and their three sons in their 20s.
A neighbor who lived nearby visited the house and reported to the police after Mr. A and his wife did not answer their phone and remained reclusive.
The bodies of Mr. A and his family were found in the master bedroom with three bodies and in a small room with a kitchen attached with two bodies, reportedly with a large amount of blood.
No signs of forced entry were found, and all the doors to the house were reportedly locked from the inside.
Mr. A was a suspect who had been booked by the police on charges of committing a sex crime against a woman living in another village on the 4th. He had not complied with a police summons two days ago but was scheduled to appear soon.
