BNK Financial Group Holds Luncheon Event at Busan Jagalchi Market... "Supporting Revitalization of the Fisheries Industry"
BNK Financial Group announced on the 15th that it held a luncheon event for its executives and employees at Busan Jagalchi Market to revitalize local traditional markets and the fisheries industry.
The event was organized to support the traditional markets and fisheries sector in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam (Bu-Ul-Gyeong) region, which are struggling due to the local economic downturn and domestic and international issues. About 40 group executives and employees, including BNK Financial Chairman Bin Dae-in and Busan Bank President Bang Seong-bin, attended. Chairman Bin and the employees purchased goods and had meals using traditional market gift certificates.
Additionally, Busan Bank donated 30 million KRW to the Busan Jagalchi Cultural Tourism Festival Committee to support the ‘Busan Jagalchi Festival’ scheduled to be held from the 5th to the 8th of next month.
BNK Financial plans to hold luncheon events in Ulsan and Changwon later this month and contribute to revitalizing local traditional markets and the fisheries industry through the ‘OK Susu (Corn) Day’ and the ‘Traditional Market Win-Win Campaign.’
‘OK Susu Day’ is a campaign that expands seafood menu options in the group’s corporate cafeterias every Wednesday and encourages the use of local seafood at each affiliate’s business branches.
