Jeonnam Fire Department Conducts Fire Response Capacity Building Training for Industrial Workers
The Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 15th that it conducted fire response capability enhancement training for 24 industrial workers (from three sites including Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries).
The training held the previous day was promoted as part of establishing a disaster safety management system, focusing on practical exercises to enable industrial workers to respond quickly and safely in the event of fire and casualties.
The training focused on deploying fire hoses and operating nozzles, wearing personal protective equipment such as self-contained breathing apparatus, entering fire scenes and conducting rescues, and emergency self-escape from fire sites.
The Jeonnam Fire School organized the curriculum to create a safe working environment in industrial sites and to prevent potential fire hazards and casualties for this training.
In particular, through communication with industrial sites, customized training tailored to the needs of the trainees was composed to enhance satisfaction and completeness of the education.
