From the 20th, children requiring two doses (those aged 6 months to under 9 years receiving their first vaccination) will begin vaccination, and from the 5th of next month, children requiring one dose and pregnant women will start receiving vaccinations.
Vaccinations for those aged 75 and older will begin on the 11th of next month, for those aged 70 to 74 on the 16th, and for those aged 65 to 69 on the 19th, all free of charge.
Basic livelihood security recipients in their 50s and national merit recipients can receive free vaccinations at health centers and health clinics from the 30th of next month until vaccine supplies run out. Paid vaccinations for all citizens will begin on November 6.
Designated vaccination medical institutions can be checked through the health center website or the vaccination helper site.
However, since the number of vaccinations available per medical institution is limited, it is necessary to confirm availability before visiting the medical institution.
Afterward, vaccination recipients must bring identification such as an ID card or resident registration certificate, and pregnant women must bring a maternity handbook and pregnancy confirmation documents.
A city official said, “Flu vaccination is the most reliable way to protect health during winter, and we ask elderly people with weakened immunity to get vaccinated,” adding, “We will do our best to minimize flu infections in the local community.”
