Kremlin: "Putin Accepts Kim Jong-un's Invitation to Visit North Korea"
Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted an invitation from North Korean State Affairs Commission Chairman Kim Jong-un to visit North Korea, the Kremlin announced on the 14th (local time).
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, "During a one-on-one meeting, Chairman Kim invited President Putin to visit North Korea. President Putin gratefully accepted this invitation."
Peskov added, "All agreements will be made through diplomatic channels."
On the same day, North Korea's Korean Central News Agency reported that Chairman Kim invited President Putin to visit North Korea, and President Putin accepted the invitation. Earlier, the Kremlin had stated the day before that there were "no plans yet" for President Putin's visit to North Korea.
President Putin and Chairman Kim exchanged rifles as gifts during the Russia-North Korea summit the previous day, Peskov said.
He explained, "President Putin gave a top-quality rifle produced in Russia. President Putin also received a North Korean-made rifle," adding, "President Putin gifted Chairman Kim a spacesuit glove that has been to space multiple times."

He also stated that Chairman Kim's visit to Russia would continue for several more days.
