'Beyond Live' Expands from Korea and Japan to Southeast Asia
Scheduled Broadcast of Jakarta SMTOWN LIVE This Month
Expanding Reach to Southeast Asia Following Korea and Japan
The world's first online-only concert platform, ‘Beyond LIVE,’ is expanding its global service by live streaming performances held in Southeast Asia, following Korea and Japan. The stage is set for the upcoming ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2023 SMCU PALACE @JAKARTA with KB Bank’ concert, taking place on the 23rd in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In addition, Beyond LIVE has revamped its service by introducing a simplified payment system optimized for each region to enhance convenience for global fans in China, Southeast Asia, and other areas, alongside expanding the regions hosting global online concerts. Customers who purchase tickets will receive a portion of the ticket price as Reward Points, which can be used for future concert tickets and digital item purchases.
Since its launch in 2020, Beyond LIVE has exclusively streamed online concerts of artists from SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment. Since last year, it has broadened its scope to include not only performances by various K-pop artists but also fan meetings with actors such as Kim Go-eun, Im Si-wan, and Jinyoung. This year, the lineup has expanded to include artists under Kakao Entertainment’s labels as well as popular Japanese artists like ‘HKT48’ and ‘Yoasobi’.
