The Ruby Romang variety is characterized by its ruby color, with a high sugar content of over 15 Brix on average, and is known as a premium Kyoho grape. The Red Shine variety is a red grape that can be eaten with the skin and boasts excellent sweetness.
Emart will sell these new grape varieties at promotional prices until the 17th. To allow consumers to taste them before purchasing, tasting events will be held at about 10 stores including Yongsan and Wangsimni branches. Emart explained that the launch of these three new grape varieties aims to "discover the 'Next Shine Muscat' and continuously captivate consumers' tastes."

For the Next Shine Muscat project, Emart formed a task force called the 'e-Grape Research Lab' led by grape buyers. According to the company, Emart’s grape buyers are currently visiting farms throughout Gyeongbuk to verify the quality and taste of various new varieties harvested until early October. Emart plans to sell the new varieties that pass this verification process in the future. Buyer Lee Jin-pyo stated, "We are doing our best to discover new varieties that will capture consumers' tastes, which have risen since Shine Muscat," and added, "We will always present delicious and satisfying Emart grapes."
