Police Summon Parent Who Filed Complaint Against Yongin Physical Education Teacher for Investigation
On the 3rd, police investigating the case of a physical education teacher found dead at a high school in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, summoned a parent who had filed a complaint against the teacher for questioning.
On the 11th, the Bundang Police Station in Gyeonggi Province called parent B, who had previously filed a complaint against the PE teacher in his 60s, Mr. A, on charges of negligence causing injury, as a witness for investigation related to Mr. A's death.

B's child suffered severe retinal damage and is said to require ongoing medical treatment.
After completing the investigation of B, the police plan to summon the school principal and fellow teachers as witnesses for further questioning.
Forensic analysis of the mobile phone Mr. A had at the time of his death revealed that he had called B several times until late last month, about ten days before his death. It is reported that Mr. A expressed a wish for leniency during these calls.
