Pukyong National University Students Renovate Campus Murals at 'Citizen Walking Spot'
Students of the National Pukyong National University (PKNU) carried out a 'mural painting volunteer activity' over two days from the 9th to the 10th, decorating the campus, a popular walking spot for citizens, with murals.
About 140 participants, including the PKNU Social Contribution Volunteer Group, the Jeolyeonghoe club, and local youth, filled a 100-meter-long wall between the 10th Engineering Building and the ROTC building on the Yongdang Campus with paintings during this volunteer activity.
Yongdang Campus of PKNU, located near Honggoksan, a low mountain in downtown Busan, is a popular walking spot frequently visited by local residents because one can quickly reach the summit of Honggoksan by passing the back gate, the 10th Engineering Building, and going around the main stadium.
Seeing the faded colors of the mural that had been there for a long time along the 100-meter section, PKNU students planned this activity and freshly repainted the mural with seasonal scenes of spring, summer, fall, and winter, as well as PKNU characters.
