[Breaking] Court Suspends Effect of Removal of Kwon Tae-seon, Chairman of MBC Major Shareholder Visitjin
The Seoul Administrative Court has put a brake on the dismissal of Kwon Tae-seon, former chairman of the Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Foundation (Bangmunjin), the major shareholder of MBC, imposed by the Korea Communications Commission.
On the 11th, the Administrative Division 5 of the Seoul Administrative Court (Presiding Judge Kim Sun-yeol) announced that the dismissal order issued by the Korea Communications Commission against former chairman Kwon will be suspended until 30 days after the ruling on the main case is made.

On the 21st of last month, the Korea Communications Commission decided to dismiss former chairman Kwon, citing negligence in the management and supervision duties related to MBC and its affiliates, and inadequate verification during the appointment process of the MBC president.
