Electric Car Catches Fire While Charging in Jinju... Building Completely Burned, No Casualties

At around 2:39 a.m. on the 7th, a fire broke out in an electric vehicle stored in a warehouse in Panmun-dong, Jinju-si, Gyeongnam, causing the warehouse and nearby houses to be destroyed.
According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters, the fire started from an electric van that was charging in the warehouse and spread, burning the entire 120㎡ warehouse, parts of nearby houses, furniture, and vehicles.
Firefighters responded after a vehicle driver passing near the warehouse noticed the flames and reported them. They extinguished the major fire by around 3:07 a.m. and completed the firefighting by 4:30 a.m.
There were no casualties from the fire, but property damage amounted to approximately 43 million won.
