Delivering Dreams and Hope to Six Low-Income Children and Youth Households
An elderly couple who have lived in Yongdang 1-dong, Mokpo City for over 40 years are spreading warmth by practicing sharing for children in need.
According to the city on the 7th, sponsors Munsang-geun and Eom Myeong-suk visited the Yongdang 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center on the 6th and donated a generous cash amount of 10 million won, expressing their desire to provide practical support to children in difficulty.
The couple, Sang-geun Moon and Myung-sook Eom, who have lived in Yongdang 1-dong for over 40 years, donated 10 million won as a designated contribution.

Accordingly, Yongdang 1-dong selected six households, including low-income children from multicultural families and young adults suffering from huge medical expenses, and delivered the sponsorship funds.
Sponsor Munsang-geun said, "Sometimes when I watch the TV program called Donghaeng, I often shed tears seeing children struggling to live," and added, "My wife and I agreed to use the sponsorship funds for the children in difficulty in Yongdang 1-dong, so we decided to donate."
He also said, "I hope they do not lose hope and raise their young children well," and "I hope this occasion today becomes a small stepping stone for a family."
