Dongmyung University SW-Centered University Project Group Conducts Youth SW Experience Camp
The SW-Centered University Project Group at Dongmyung University conducted the '2023 Youth SW Experience Camp' for elementary and middle school students in the Busan area on the 2nd and 3rd at the Geumryeonsan Youth Training Center in Busan as part of their SW value dissemination program.
A total of 90 students from 4th grade elementary to 3rd grade middle school participated, with 45 students per session, and the program was offered free of charge.
The Youth SW Experience Camp was operated in three groups of 15 students each. Starting with safety education, Group 1 alternated with making robot cars using Micro:bit, Group 2 with making Diaboards, and Group 3 with making aero rockets.

An official from the project group stated, "By sharing the value of software with the local community, we aimed to increase students' interest and understanding of software and help them become more familiar with software through hands-on experience programs."
