CU Box, Officially Entering the Digital Healthcare Market
CUBox, an AI video recognition specialist company, announced on the 6th that it has signed a business agreement with MyBenefit, a future-oriented health management platform operator, to develop AI healthcare services.
Through this business agreement, MyBenefit will utilize CUBox's video recognition AI technology in healthcare kiosks already supplied to the Sejong Government Complex, schools, and other locations to provide personalized services. Both companies will continuously expand their business and cooperate to establish new business models.
MyBenefit's self-developed healthcare kiosk recognizes users' movements based on deep learning to assess their health status. Based on this, it provides healthcare content. By integrating CUBox's video recognition technology into this service, members are identified through AI facial recognition technology via personalized services. It plans to offer stronger personalized content by understanding individual health conditions.
Additionally, CUBox recently started developing a facial payment solution (CUBox Pay), which will be linked with the kiosks to maximize user convenience. Through this, the two companies plan to promote an IT-based innovative silver business by familiarizing middle-aged and elderly users suffering from four major diseases?sarcopenia, mild cognitive impairment, diabetes, and cancer?with kiosk usage.

In particular, regarding AI video recognition robots, following government projects such as ‘AI logistics robot development for logistics center automation’ with Foodnamu and NIA’s ‘AI logistics robot grasping technology,’ demand from private companies related to manufacturing automation continues. We expect meaningful growth in new business sectors beyond facial recognition in the second half of this year.”
