Manwoo Lee Hyungseop, Solo Exhibition of 'Traditional Seogak' in Naju Until the 26th
26 Three-Dimensional and Korean-Style Artworks Exhibited at Naju Nabilella Culture Center
An exhibition of artist Lee Hyung-seop, who has captured the joys and sorrows through the essence and expression of natural materials as they are, is being held.
This traditional wood carving solo exhibition will be held until the 26th at the 1st and 2nd floor exhibition halls of the Naju Nabilella Culture Center in Jeollanam-do.
Under the theme "Feeling Happiness," 26 works showcasing three-dimensional and Korean aesthetics through various traditional wood carving techniques and woodworking crafts are on display.
Artist Lee Hyung-seop said, "Wood carving has become a great source of happiness in my life. I decided to hold this solo exhibition to share this happiness with other precious people," adding, "Having a small hobby in a busy and hectic life might be more meaningful than you think."
He continued, "I feel very honored to hold this solo exhibition so grandly in Naju, the birthplace of the thousand-year-old Jeolla Province where nature and history breathe," and added, "If time permits, I hope you take the opportunity to experience the rich cultural heritage of Mahan history."
