Sancheong-gun Provides Incentives to Attract Group Tourists
Expo Tourist Attraction Travel Agencies Targeted
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that it will provide incentives to travel agencies that attract group tourists to the 2023 Sancheong World Traditional Medicine Anti-Aging Expo (hereinafter Expo).
This support was prepared to revitalize local tourism by increasing the number of tourists.
The target is travel agencies registered under the 'Tourism Promotion Act,' and support will be provided during the Expo period from the 15th of this month to October 19.
The support conditions require attracting at least 15 domestic tourists and 3 foreign tourists, purchasing Expo admission tickets, attending the Expo, and then using local restaurants and accommodations.
For support, day tours receive 5,000 to 10,000 KRW per person, overnight tours receive 10,000 to 20,000 KRW per person per night, and for two nights, 20,000 to 30,000 KRW per person.
In addition to the per-person support amount, rental fees for tourist buses are also supported if certain conditions are met.
The incentive payment will be made after review if a prior plan is submitted at least three days before the trip and a payment application is submitted within 30 days after the trip ends.
