[IFA 2023] KOTRA Operates Korean Pavilion... Supports Entry into European Market
KOTRA is operating the Korean Pavilion at IFA 2023, Europe’s largest electronics exhibition, held in Berlin, Germany, until the 5th to support the overseas expansion of domestic innovative companies.
This event was promoted in collaboration with KIC Europe, Korea Venture Investment, and Chungnam Center for Creative Economy & Innovation. Sixteen promising domestic innovative companies participated in the Korean Pavilion, located in the ‘Next Pavilion,’ a startup zone. Events such as business consultations, IR pitching, and seminars on European market entry strategies were held.
The ‘Next Pavilion’ is an innovation technology zone within IFA focused on ICT-based startups. This year, more than 500 innovative companies participated in fields including ▲AI ▲robotics ▲cloud solutions.

Innovative companies from various sectors, such as autonomous driving solutions and eco-friendly carbon-neutral technologies, showcased their technologies to potential partners. Additionally, KOTRA held a European market entry seminar for companies participating in the Korean Pavilion to introduce the local startup ecosystem and support programs. Kim Hyun-chul, head of KOTRA’s Europe Regional Headquarters, said, “Germany is implementing various support policies to attract outstanding startups,” adding, “KOTRA will continue to closely monitor trends in the German and European markets to proactively support the overseas expansion of domestic startups.”
