Inspection of Integrity Policy Implementation... Emphasizing the Commitment to Integrity in the Public Service Sector

Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do held a departmental strategy meeting on the 1st to improve integrity.

According to the county on the 1st, the meeting was held to establish an anti-corruption foundation by sharing comprehensive measures to improve integrity and discussing improvement plans for corruption-prone areas identified through the Clean Call survey conducted to measure external perception in 2023.

Ahead of the 2023 integrity evaluation survey conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, departments reviewed improvement plans and the implementation status of integrity policies, emphasizing ways to enhance integrity and the commitment to practicing integrity within the public service.

To improve integrity, the county plans to strengthen integrity systems and policies through △ autonomous internal control systems △ whistleblower protection systems △ operation of the Abuse Reporting Center (Helpline), and regularly conduct integrity education to raise public officials' awareness of integrity.

County Governor Kim Hee-su said, “We will frequently check the progress of initiatives to secure momentum for promoting our county’s integrity policies and improve integrity,” adding, “All public officials will do their best together to create an honest Jindo.”
