Hong Young-geun, the head of the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, has taken the lead in managing safety in island areas.
According to Jeonnam Fire on the 31st, Director Hong visited Nakwondo and Songido in Yeonggwang-gun on the same day to inspect the sites and check the fire safety environment.
This visit was promoted to minimize damage to life and property through rapid initial response in the event of various disasters such as fires.
On the day, he focused on inspecting the actual conditions of fire access routes in island areas, the accessibility of fire trucks, the operation status of wildfire suppression vehicles, and the installation status of fire extinguisher boxes in alleyways.
Following the on-site inspection, he also had a communication session through a meeting with volunteer firefighters.
