KT Holds M360 APAC in Seoul... Keynote Speech by CEO Kim Young-seop
KT announced on the 31st that it will host the Mobile360 Asia Pacific (M360 APAC) conference with the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) at the Westin Chosun Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, from July 7 to 8.
Mobile360 is an event held annually by GSMA since 2013, selecting regional themes from Europe, South America, Africa, Asia, and other areas to discuss agendas in the information and communication technology (ICT) industry. This is the first time M360 is being held in Korea.
M360 events held by continent attract over 1,000 key figures worldwide, including ICT leaders, government officials, regulators, and over-the-top (OTT) service providers. Small-scale exhibitions by participating companies are also arranged to showcase the latest mobile technologies and trends.
The M360 APAC Korea event, themed "Leading a digital-first future," will bring together leaders from major domestic and international ICT companies such as KT, Samsung Electronics, and China Mobile, along with key figures from the Ministry of Science and ICT, Korea Telecommunications Operators Association (KTOA), and academia to discuss the future of the digital era focusing on digital transformation (DX), artificial intelligence (AI), 6th generation mobile communications (6G), and fintech.
Notably, the opening keynote on the first day, titled "Leading an Open Digital Nation," will feature global ICT leaders including Mats Granryd, GSMA Director General; Park Yoon-kyu, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT; Kim Young-seop, CEO of KT; Kim Woo-jun, President of Samsung Electronics’ Network Business Division; and Yang Jie, Chairman of China Mobile. At this event, Kim Young-seop, CEO of KT, will once again showcase South Korea’s status as a global ICT and digital leading nation to the world.
In addition to the keynote, KT will have presentations by Choi Kang-rim, Head of AI Mobility Division; Bae Soon-min, Director of AI2XL Research Institute; Park Joon-hee, Executive Director of Mobility Partnership Business; and Choi Won-seok, President of BC Card, covering topics such as DX, AI, mobility innovation, and fintech.
KT will also set up an exhibition space where visitors can experience its AI full-stack strategy. Four partner companies?Rebellion, More, QANDA, and 2Digit?will showcase various AI full-stack technologies. QANDA (education) and 2Digit (fintech), strategic partners in the field of large-scale AI models and applications, will unveil AI full-stack related technologies for the first time at this exhibition.
