Temporary Increase in Recharge Limits and Incentives for September
Incentives Raised from 6% to 10%, Recharge Limits from 300,000 to 500,000 Won
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is increasing the incentives and recharge limits for its local currency, 'Yongin Y-Pay,' ahead of Chuseok.
The city announced on the 31st that from September 1 to 30, the incentive for Yongin Y-Pay will be raised by 4 percentage points from the existing 6% to 10%, and the recharge limit eligible for incentives will be increased from 300,000 won to 500,000 won.
Accordingly, if a consumer recharges 500,000 won on Yongin Y-Pay, they will receive an additional 50,000 won benefit at 10%, allowing them to use 550,000 won. The incentive limit is 50,000 won. Previously, the recharge limit eligible for incentives was 300,000 won, and the incentive rate was 6%, resulting in a benefit of 18,000 won.
