Jungnang-gu's Full Effort to Create a 'Safe Jungnang'
On the 30th, Jungnang Police Station and the '2023 Jungnang-gu Regional Security Council Regular Meeting' Held
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Gyeong-gi) held the "2023 Jungnang-gu Regional Public Safety Council Regular Meeting" on the 30th in collaboration with the Jungnang Police Station.
The meeting was attended by nine members, including Ryu Gyeong-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu and chairman of the Regional Public Safety Council, co-chairman Kim Ki-jong, chief of Jungnang Police Station, and Choi Kyung-bo, vice chairman of the Jungnang-gu Council, to discuss measures to protect residents' safety and create a safe Jungnang-gu.
The main agenda items included ▲expansion of CCTV to prevent crimes with unusual motives such as "random murders" ▲formation of a consultative body to enhance the perceived safety of the social safety index ▲improvement of streetlight illumination and installation of safety lighting at crosswalks ▲support for safety equipment to prevent traffic accidents involving the elderly ▲strengthening patrol activities at Jungnang Happy Urban Agriculture Center, Youth Reading Room, Mangwoo History and Culture Park, and Sangbong Food Alley ▲strengthening prevention of high-risk drinking and alcohol-related harm.
