This group of 31 tourists is the first Chinese group to visit Korea since the Chinese government allowed group tours to Korea on the 10th. The visit was jointly planned by the Korea Tourism Organization and China Youth Travel Service, the largest state-owned travel agency in China.
To commemorate the visit, Shinsegae Duty Free presented souvenirs such as a 50,000 KRW prepaid duty-free card and an AHC mask pack set. After duty-free shopping, the group enjoyed a Korean meal for dinner at 'Keungiwajip Hansang' in the Shinsegae Department Store food court.
Shinsegae Duty Free is actively preparing to welcome Chinese tourists. They have revamped cosmetics and fashion brands to match the latest trends and are conducting promotions with WeChat Pay, a representative Chinese payment platform.
Additionally, to provide a shopping, cultural, and experiential environment, K-pop star music videos are being displayed on the media facade of the Myeongdong branch. Separately, customer services are being enhanced, including providing Chinese interpretation services.
