KakaoBank Mini, Minimum Age for Enrollment Expanded to 7 Years Old
KakaoBank announced on the 25th that it has lowered the minimum age requirement for its financial service for teenage customers, 'mini,' to 7 years old.
KakaoBank changed the eligible age for joining mini from "14 to 18 years old" to "7 to 18 years old." Teenage customers aged 7 to 13 must go through an additional guardian consent process during the registration stage.
KakaoBank has also prepared various events. First, customers who join KakaoBank mini within the event period will receive a welcome bonus of 2,000 KRW. The bonus is immediately credited to the subscriber's KakaoBank mini account, and only first-time subscribers can participate in the event.
